What is Nutritional Therapy?
The application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. At TELondon, we use dietary adjustments and lifestyle changes to improve your health and wellbeing. By analysing your diet and eating habits we can establish what you need more and less of to achieve optimal health. This is a positive approach to health and allows you to take control of your symptoms.
What conditions or symptoms can be helped using nutritional therapy?
Nutritional therapy is suitable everyone. A full medical history is always taken to ensure that named diseases and pharmaceutical drugs are taken into consideration to avoid contraindications and unsafe practice. Here are some conditions which are commonly addressed with nutritional therapy:
- Adrenal dysfunction
- Cholesterol concerns
- Chronic fatigue
- Digestive complaints (bloating, lower abdominal pain)
- Female hormone issues
- Fertility (male and female)
- High blood pressure
- Inflammatory disorders
- Menopausal symptoms
- Parkinson’s disease
- Thyroid (hypo/hyper)
- Sports nutrition
- Skin disorders (acne, psoriasis, eczema)
- Weight loss/gain
Julie, can also help those newly diagnosed with medical conditions to provide better nutritional support and help combat possible side effects of their medication. We like to offer an integrated approach to health and work alongside your trainer where appropriate.
